I've watched a lot of movies in my life, waaay too many. Well over 400 movies. I have a huge list I update manually,
I don't use any apps/sites to track them. I don't get them. It's just unnecessary. The less accounts I have, the better.
I love movies and watch one almost every day, I cannot eat my dinner without a movie....
My dad was always really into movies and built a home cinema. We had a 3D TV back in the days of
the 3D craze. It was great. I could count the amount of times I went to an actual cinema on one hand.
The first movie I ever watched on the big screen, was Gulliver's Travels in 2010.
The rest of the time, we just sailed the seven seas for our movies. (Don't think about lecturing me on morals, no evil Hollyweirdo
is ever getting a penny off me. Besides, I'm poooooor...)
My dad had huge hard drives full of movies and made a kiddie folder just for me. Before he'd head off to work, he told me to never look at
the other folders. And that's exactly what I did. That's how 7 year old me got introduced to Saw and other things I shouldn't have seen. Thanks, dad.
My favourite genres are sci-fi, horror and comedy, but I can watch most things. I also really love 'END OF THE WOOORLD!" movies like
World War Z, 2012, The Day After Tomorrow etc. They excite me. The world ending and getting to die with everyone sounds cozy.
Getting killed by some serial killer is sad and looonely.
I'd say the best decades for movies
were the 90s and 2000s. But you already knew I'd say that.
The worst decade for movies is definitely the 2020s. BARF. It's all
reboots and unoriginal SLOP. It's why I watch them on 2x speed to get them over with. Hate-watching can be fun sometimes.
Recently I've been watching way too many cheesey 90's movies about dogs/puppies. Like ALL of the Air Bud movies...
